Where to begin?!?!!?
First my computer died,,,In these times who can afford to buy a new one?!?! I have to update from my mom's computer so updates may be sparse!!
I had issues with my cell phone(thanks to my daddy that is fixed).
My straightener just died this morning, LOL do you think maybe I shouldn't have electronic things?!?!?
Last week was uneventful. Sat. we celebrated my nephews birthday and everyone had a GREAT time!!
Sat. night however Celia spiked a fever of 104, respiration's in the high 30's and heart rate was 160-170, she was gagging so I had to stop her feedings and do a Pedialite drip 24/7.
Aaaaaaaahhhhhh I started rotating Tylenol and Motrin every 2 hours, doing Xopenex breathing treatments every 4 hours, 2-3L of 02. She went to bed at 10 pm Sat. night and did not get out of bed until 9 pm Sun night!!!!
Her fever remained at 102.6 for that entire time. Finally Sun. night her fever came down to "normal" with Tylenol and Motrin.
I was trying to avoid the ER, however when I called the Peds office on Mon. morning, her Ped was out of the office and the other 2 Peds were booked, they told me just to take her to the ER anyway, UGH.
So after a 3 hour ER visit, me having to tell them what tests to run, what was wrong with her, what antibiotic and ear drops to put her on, she is on Ceftin for pneumonia and Ciprodex ear drops for an ear infection!
Aimee and I are not feeling well either so I am sure it started as a virus but for Celia it seems to never end as a virus.
Heather is coming home for a visit this week!!! She gets her braces off on Thur. the 12th!!! We can't wait to see her!!
It is calving season right now for us so Jeff has been at the farm ALOT lately.
Next week we got to Denver for 3 appt.'s! Boy, do I ever hope things start running smoother around here!!!
