Celia is OUT of surgery! It will still be an hour and a half before we can see because they have to get her up to and set up in the PICU. She is skipping recovery and going straight up to the PICU. She has had 4 units of blood which is not too bad, she still may need more blood in the next few days. The surgeon said that she did great!! She is fused from T3 to L5(yeah he was able to leave her lower spine and hips unfused which means more movement!!!!), her bones are good quality so she won't need to wear a brace until the fusing is hardened! He was able to correct her curve to under 30 degrees!! He also said that he was very happy with how it corrected her Kyphosis(humpback)!! I can't wait to see my baby, even though she will be asleep, swollen and on a vent!! I miss her soooooooooo much!!!
